Does your civic organization ,pre-school, or church group want to set up a tour of an ambulance base?
Paramedics will show and demonstrate equipment, provide age appropriate information to each group (i.e. how 911 works, when to call, basic first aid, etc.).To set up a base tour call 573-883-7000 or send an e-mail to Public Relations. Remember, paramedics are subject to an emergency call at any time. There are instances when a tour is scheduled and the crew must respond immediately.
Upon scheduling your tour you will be given the phone number of the base to call just prior to your visit to ensure the crew is in quarters. Tours are available 7 days a week between 10:00am-7:00pm.
